The Symbiosis of Business and Art: Why and How Companies Develop Cultural Partnerships
On May 27, 2025, Vera Timoshenko, Managing Partner of CREDO Communications, spoke at the event organised by the Center for Eurasian Cooperation titled "The Symbiosis of Business and Art: Why and How Companies Develop Cultural Partnerships."

Business-led cultural projects and partnerships can take various forms: from sponsorship of cultural institutions and collaborations with artists to product development and corporate art collection. Art can serve as an intellectual tool of influence for businesses — a way to remind stakeholders of the company’s philosophy and uniqueness, build a community around the brand, and highlight its social commitment.

Furthermore, the interaction between business and arts holds significant potential for financial results: for companies, cultural partnerships integrated into marketing strategies can expand their customer base and boost sales, while arts institutions gain additional funding sources to realise ambitious projects and attract broader audiences through business collaborations. During the event, leading marketing experts will share their experience in establishing cultural partnerships, discuss the benefits of business and art collaborations, and outline methods for measuring the effectiveness of such initiatives.

Other speakers:

  • Olga Reshetnikova, Director of Communications and Relations with Cultural Institutions, MR Group
  • Igor Tarasenko, Deputy General Director for Brand and Concept, Ile de Beauté
  • Daria Kovalchuk, Development Director, Museum of Russian Impressionism

Moderator: Olga Latysheva, communications specialist at an international financial organization, art historian.

The event took place at the Demidov Estate on Novaya Basmannaya Street—the former residence of Prince Golitsyn, known for its outstanding art collection, which earned the house the nickname "Moscow's Little Hermitage." Attendees will have the opportunity to view the exhibition "The Future of Memories".
